The Team Handicap Final took place on Tuesday 7th September at the Hastings Academy Sports Hall between Hastings Academy A, (Paul Barry, Ryan Heselden and Dave Watters) and Hastings Academy C, (Nathan Darby, Arthur Bracken and Andy Murphy). (continued)
It is with much sadness that we have learnt of the death of Ron Spencer at the age of 76 years on 21st August 2021. Ron was an excellent administrator of the Hastings & District Table Tennis Association and long-time player for well over 50 years. He was made a Vice-President of the Association in 1977/78 and later served two terms of office as President, in 1985/96 and 2001/02. (continued)
Ron sadly passed away on the weekend of 21 August 2021. He has played table tennis in the Hastings League for many years, playing regularly for Nalgo in division 3 until the 19/20 season. He was the club’s treasurer.
