Maidstone league sends our condolences to Mehdi's family.

Some of you may already be aware that Kings Hill B player Mehdi Golchehreh died last Thursday 7th March during a Maidstone League match against the Club's C team.  Mehdi was just 69 years old which is fairly young by modern standards.  He died despite an immense effort by his clubmates and paramedics.  It was a very traumatic evening for those involved.  Mehdi always greeted you with a smile on his face and was a joy to play with and against.  He will be missed.  Our  thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.  Originally from Iran, Mehdi was in his second season as a Kings Hill player and was also a regular player in the Medway and Sittingbourne Leagues from 2006.  Kings Hill are attempting to reach out to Mehdi's family so that funeral arrangements can be posted.
