Steve Dixon retained his Band One singles title at the Kendal and District Table Tennis League’s annual finals night at Ibis Sports and Social Club.
Ibis were crowned the Kendal and District Table Tennis League’s Division One champions in the most dramatic of circumstances after the Kendal side finished equal on points with Natland A, but took the title due to a superior win record.
It looks like the title in Division One of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League will go to the wire as three teams battle it out for the coveted number one spot.
TITLE RACE THROWN WIDE OPEN AS BURTON TOPPLE NATLAND
The Division One title race has been thrown wide open in the Kendal and District Table Tennis League after leaders and defending champions Natland A were swept aside 8-2 in a shock defeat at the hands of second placed Burton A.
With only a handful of matches to play, current Kendal and District Division One champions Natland A are on the verge of defending their crown, holding a three point cushion over rivals Burton A, having played two games fewer.
BURTON TRIUMPH IN DIVISION TWO HEAVYWEIGHT CLASH
Burton C have once again taken over top spot in Division Two of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League following a narrow 6-4 victory against third placed promotion rivals Dallam C.
TOP FLIGHT HIGH FLYERS CLASH IN STALEMATE
Second met third in Division One of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League when Dalton CC A clashed with Burton A this week.

NATLAND ON CLOUD NINE AFTER DERBY WIN
Natland A moved nine points clear at the top of the Division One of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League, following an impressive 10-0 whitewash against club-mates Natland B.
DALLAM EASE RELEGATION WOES
Dallam A’s relegation woes were eased this week in Division One of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League after a narrow 6-4 victory against fellow strugglers Burton B.
From Mike Sunderland - Kirkby Stephen - are now relocated in both gym (5 tables) and sports hall7 tables.
Monday night remains home night in the sports hall and Thursday eve club night in gym.
Teams A and C remain unaffected.
DALLAM BEAT GRAYRIGG IN TABLE TOP CLASH
The two top sides in Division Three of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League clashed this week as leaders Dallam D faced second placed Grayrigg B.
IBIS HOLD NATLAND IN TABLE TOP THRILLER
Natland A’s one hundred percent winning start to the season came to an abrupt halt when championship rivals Ibis held the league leaders to a 5-5 draw in Division One of the Kendal and District Table Tennis League.
