Arrival Instructions
As a result of COVID-19, we at SGS College Table Tennis Club have updated our Codes of Conduct to ensure that a return to play following COVID-19 is safe and in accordance with Table Tennis England and Government Guidelines. This is our Covid code of conduct

Your welfare, and the welfare of fellow club members is paramount. Please note that it is the responsibility of all members of SGS College Table Tennis Club to ensure that the following principles are followed;

If you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or any of your household are self-isolating, you must stay at home and not use our facilities.
You must contact the club by telephone or email prior to attending if you or any of your contacts/household test positive for Coronavirus
PPE is available at reception upon arrival should you need this
If you wish to play, you must book your place at a session in advance by booking via our web site. Turn up play and pay will not be permitted.
Training sessions are booked in advance and no there are no refunds for non- attendance unless you test positive or the college agree to refund as a result of discussions for other extreme conditions
A handling fee of 2.8% + £0.25 will be deducted from the refund to cover the online admin fees and any refund will be made via bacs.
Please do not enter the hall space unless requested to do so, especially if no coach or leader is present.
Face coverings must be used in the college corridors and please follow the one way system in place.
Please can only one parent guardian drop of the child into reception/hub where you will be met by the coach and the players will be returned here at the end of the session.
Parents and spectators are not currently permitted into the training hall and the café and hub area is also closed. Parents and guardians should adhere to the social distance guidelines and wear a face mask at all times.
You must register or sign in on arrival with the coach/ organiser lead so that we can keep a track of who has visited the Club. This is compulsory.
Please be advised that your details may be shared with NHS Track and Trace in line with Government guidelines
You must adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times
Members must adhere to good hygiene practices throughout their time at the Club and should hand sanitise upon arrival and at the end of the session.
Equipment cannot be shared within a session. Players should bring their own bats, and any equipment belonging to the Club must be cleaned after use.
Balls will be washed regularly to minimise risk or a set allocated to each session / group/bubble.
Players must play in bubbles of six only and players will be allocated a bubble. These bubbles can change at every session
Table tennis etiquette, which requires contact (shaking / slapping hands etc) must be suspended for the time being.
Players must wipe down their side of the table upon finishing their session.
Members must bring their own drinks bottles which are brought in and taken away every session.

SGS College Table Tennis Club is committed to the safety and welfare of its members. As such, we will take the following measures;

We will keep members updated with changes in processes or protocol relating to Club activity
The communal areas are closed where possible until restrictions are further lifted
We will implement a booking system to limit the numbers attending sessions to enable social distancing
We will provide information on good hygiene practises
We will ensure our Coaches are equipped with the necessary knowledge to deliver sessions in accordance with Government and Table Tennis England Guidelines
We will do our best to keep up to date with Table Tennis England Guidance, and Government advice
We will make decisions based on the best interest of our sessions
We will regularly review and update our risk assessment relating to COVID-19.
We will share information with the NHS Track and Trace Service in line with Government Guidelines.

There is an NPR (number plate recognition) parking system in operation.

Payment needs to be made via the parking machines in the car park.
Failure to make the requisite payment will result in a fine

Due to Covid19 the SGS Filton Club will not be able to have anyone at the venue to double check car registrations. For 2020-21 the arrangement for players to notify the club in advance of their car registration will not be in operation and visiting players will need to pay the car park charge.
