SGS Coaching Courses

Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to announce that at SGS College we have now agreed to start back with our community programmes on a reduced capacity basis due to the coronavirus.

There are a number of changes and actions that you will now need to meet, if you wish to attend one of the coaching sessions. Please find attached our latest covid 19 policy on the return to play, and you will have to abide to this. It will be everyone's responsibility to make sure this happens.

We are restricted with the number of tables available and therefore the numbers at sessions will also be reduced, but at the present time there is nothing we can do to change this, and I appreciate that some people will be disappointed.

Parents and spectators are not permitted at the sessions and therefore if you intending to attend a junior session, you need to be comfortable with dropping you child with the coach at reception. All of the sessions will have a suitable qualified and DBS checked coach, in line with the SGS College policies, we will also return your children to you at reception after the session and you will need to collect them from there please.

A new web site has now been created that covers all our community table tennis provision and this can be found by clicking the following link.  https://clubs.tabletennisengland.co.uk/BristolTT

All of our community coaching courses can now be found under the coaching section  https://clubs.tabletennisengland.co.uk/BristolTT/Coaching and we have made these short term courses up until Christmas to try and give everyone the chance to get on a course and back playing table tennis. Payment of these courses can now only be made on- line and you will need to register for a Table Tennis England account (if you do not have one) to access them. We will also arrange a parking permit for you, but you will need to register this with me and complete the relevant form, which I can do at your first session.

The college is encouraging the use of face masks in college and these will need to be worn when you enter the building and when students use the corridors please.

We are happy to try and answer any further questions that you have, so please feel free to e-mail me and we hope to see you back at the sessions soon.

regards
