David Nipper retires after 60 years
 

Southmead TableTennis Club would like to acknowledge David Nipper’s significant contribution, not only to the club, but also to the Bristol & District Table Tennis League 

David has decided to retire after playing for 60 consecutive years in the Bristol League, representing Southmead Table Tennis Club for that time.

As a valued player, David also participated in such roles as team captain, he has been a qualified match official, county umpire, Tournament Referee and a member of the Bristol Executive Commitee.

On behalf of Southmead Table Tennis Club, we would like to offer our thanks and appreciation for everything he has given to the sport and the League, and the successes he helped bring to the club, and wish David all the very best.

The Bristol Executive committee would also like to thank David for his contribution to the league both in a playing and administrative capacity. We all hope he has a long and relaxing retirement.
