The league closing date for sending team registration forms to Brian Ellison (League Registration Secretary) was yesterday 31st July.
A reminder that the clubs also need to send the appropriate registration fee to Mervyn George (League Treasurer) asap if they have not already done so.
We do not quite have complete clarity about the number of teams because we are still seeking confirmation from one club that they still intend to register a team. We are expecting either 91 or 92 teams in 7 divisions.
We have several new teams being entered with most requested to be allocated to division 5 or 6. Note adding further new teams after 31st July becomes much more difficult due to the potential impact on team matrix order for fixture generation and we will have fewer vacant team slots available in each division this coming season.
Early work on league setup is being done on TT365. The TT Leagues system does not provide the facilities we need for efficiently managing league setup and monitoring the status of player registrations. You can expect to have visibility of the divisions and fixtures on TT365 from mid August.
Loading of the teams and players to TT Leagues will not be started until mid September. We are unable to allocate players to teams on TT Leagues if they are not registered correctly. It is more efficient to leave the loading until after a high percentage of players have successfully renewed their registration.
