The Warwickshire Cadets were in action on Saturday for the first round of the County Table Tennis Championships. A much changed side from last year would face a rude awakening in Division 1B, the first two fixtures of the day would see them face both Middlesex 1 and 2.

Warwickshire have entered two Over 60's teams in the County Championships for the first time with both the 1st and 2nd teams being placed in Division 1A, and the last few weeks has proved a busy period for both teams.

Following the 2014-15 success in being Division 1A champions, the Warwickshire Senior County team began their Premier Division Campaign, taking place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, at Cippenham Table Tennis Centre in Slough. The five players representing Warwickshire were Loz Sweeney, Matt Outhwaite, James Ward, Kate Hughes and Charlotte Spencer.

On Saturday 28th November, the Warwickshire Junior County Team travelled to Draycott Table Tennis Centre, to begin their 2015-16 County Championships campaign in Division 1A. The five players representing Warwickshire were Timmy Cooper, Lee Dorning, Sam Weaving, Lisa Rinnhofer and Olivia Fletcher.

The 2015 Warwickshire Schools Team Table Tennis Championship will be held on Thursday 19th November at Lawrence Sheriff School. Information regarding this event is available here in the entry form

 A special mention must go to Warwickshire's girls; Lisa Rinnhofer, Katie Singleton and Jenny Singleton who picked-up 12 out of a possible 14 wins on the final day.

The Warwickshire Senior First Team travelled to Draycott Table Tennis Centre for Division 1A of the County Championships haunted by the memories of losing out to Kent by one individual match in 2014.

Staffordshire were defeated 6-4 as Dorning took the scalps of Lewis Acton and Ashley Offley. Henderson nailed Offley and Michael Bree, Cooper beat Acton and Rinnhofer overcame Philippa Luxton.

Warwickshire's Over 60's team finished in a respectable fifth spot out of nine in County Championships Division 1A following their second weekend of matches at Draycott recently.

The Warwickshire Over 40s Veterans secured their place in Division 1A of the County Championships despite a difficult series of matches at Woodfield Table Tennis Club.
