The results of the Warwickshire County Championships are now available

Warwickshire juniors were brought firmly back to earth following the first weekend of the County Premier Championships as Cippenham Table Tennis Centre hosted the 2012/13 Premier Divisions first round of matches on the 10/11th November 2012.
Warwickshire Veterans(promoted last season) secured their place in Division 2A of the County Championship for a second season after a tough second weekend of matches at Halifax.
Thanks go to the County umpires secretary Inky Moss for umpiring the match and to several Colebridge members who came in to watch
The County Over 60's team commenced their seasons competition in Halifax on Saturday 10th November.
The next challenge is Worcestershire at Colebridge soon and then the last four matches will be played over the weekend of 9th/10th February at the Draycott Center near Derby.
The next 2012/13 Warwickshire County Championships will be held on Sunday 6th January 2013 and entries are now being accepted.
There are changing/shower facilities at the centre.
Play will commence at 9am and continue to approx 7pm
The County rankings for 2012/13 have now been submitted to the County Champoinships Administrators and are as below
There will be Warwickshire County Talent ID Days and Trials on Saturday 13th October (Under 13 boys, Under 15 boys and all girls) and Sunday 14th October (Top Under 18 boys and top cadets by invitation).
There is no charge for entry to this event - all are welcome.

With Warwickshire widely tipped by many to go down prior to the weekend, the first game against fellow relegation favourites Worcestershire was to prove crucial in the fate of the bears.

Following on from their unbelievable first weekend of the County Championships, Warwickshire could have been forgiven for thinking they were safe from relegation. Little did they know this couldn’t have been further from the truth!
