League Tournament 2022-23
Tournament Details
Friday 6 January 2023 - 6pm to 10pm
Saturday 7 January 2023 - 9am to 10pm
Sunday 8 January 2023 - 9am to 7pm
Venue: Mildmay Hall, Anglia Ruskin University, Alan Cherry Drive, CM1 1QT
Entry Fee: £5 plus £3 per event entered (whether Junior or Senior)
Entry Deadline: 24 December 2022
Qualification Requirements: To enter events, league players must have played at least three adult league matches (including Knockout cup or Handicap cup matches); or at least one Chelmsford Junior League match in the C&DTTL league by 6 January 2023. Some of the league's Bat & Chat players may be invited to enter the handicap singles, handicap doubles, Division 5 Singles and hard bat events whether they have played league games or not.
Age Restrictions: All age restrictions are based on how old the player is on 31 December 2022.
Divisional Tournaments: Players may only enter the events for the division they are registered in (as of 24 December 2022) and the division above that one. Some of the league's Bat & Chat players may be invited to enter the Division 5 Singles.
Doubles Partners: Players that have agreed to partner someone in a doubles event ahould enter their partner's name below. If you don't have a partner, we will find one for you. If you make arrangements with a partner after completing the form, notify us by emailing davidgatheral@hotmail.com.
Payment: Once you have submitted your entry form, we will email you with the league's bank details so you can pay the entry fee by bank transfer.
Finals Night: This will be on Monday 16 January at Old Chelmsfordians TTC. Please do not enter the Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Veteran's Singles or Junior Boys unless you will be available to attend and play on Finals Night should you reach the finals.

Hard Bat Singles: For the first time in decades, there will be a hard bat competition. Bats will be provided and on Friday Evening there will be a free hard bat practice and coaching session on Friday Evening from 8pm to 10pm so you can try them out before Sunday afternoon. This is a fun event and all are encouranged to enter.
