The Chelmsford League Committee were saddened to learn of the passing of John Jennings (1938-2004). John who was 85 played in Braintree league and was a qualified umpire and will be best remembered by the Chelmsford League for his many appearances at finals night assisting Arthur Clark with the umpiring. Our condolences to his son Richard who played in the Chelmsford league for many years and the rest of his family."
