Sadly, I have to report that Ray Hammond passed away on 22^nd November at the age of 71 after a stroke.

Ray was a team-mate of mine for several years in one of the Thames Conservancy teams where he played for a number of years during 1980s and 1990s, until the TC Club disbanded at the end of the 1997/98 season and he decided to take a break from playing.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family.
