Rawreth A and particularly Minda Sinkus were in ruthless form this week as they swept aside Warehouse A 9-0, Sinkus only dropping a maximum of five points in any one leg on the evening.

Rawreth B gained a much needed win in emphatic style beating Stanford A 9-0. However at one point they were down to 2 men with the rest of the team either travelling or recuperating after operations! Their saviour was Eric Green (pictured) who managed to make the match and more than made up the numbers by winning all his 3 matches and picking up the MoM award. He was ably supported by Matt Spero and Mike Hayes.

Hullbridge C were on the wrong end of the result as they went down by the finest of margins to Thorpe Bay B. Liam Squirrel with a hattrick and Gurj Bhambra with two in this one while there was a good win for Dan Zeffie over Bhambra for Hullbridge. There was success for the Hullbridge A team though as they beat Rayleigh Mill 5-4. Duncan Taylor with three for the Millers alongside a good 12-10 in the 5th win for Colin Chatfield over Richard Brown.

Rawreth A hit the heights in more than one way this week as they recorded an astonishing 9-0 victory over the 16/17 Champs Hullbridge A and in doing so went to the top of the table. New signing Minda Sinkus led the way with three wins but equally impressive were Sinkus’s teammates Kevin Read and Zayd Mauthoor who were also unbeaten for the Rawreth side.

Week 4 of the Southend Premier Division bought some tight results, none more so that the 5-4 victories for Hullbridge B and Rayleigh Mill over Rawreth B and Brand Identity respectively. Keith Adams (pictured) and Colin Chatfield made huge contributions by winning three for the victorious sides while there were really good wins from Richard Jackman over Peter Radford and Daniel Zeffie getting one over Rawreth stalwart Babul McLeod.

It was a tough night for Rawreth B as they were only able to field 2 players against Rayleigh Mill with the rest of the squad either injured or on holiday. The final score was 2-7 with the Millers eventually running out deserved winners. Peter Radford was the M0M winning his 2 matches against Bruce Kettle and Babul McLeod both 3 straight. Sam Lowman also picked up a brace but only just getting the better of Babul 12-10 in the 5th.

Premier Division

Rayleigh Mill reversed their week 1 score by recording an 8-1 home win over Stanford le Hope. Rahul Sharma, with the win over Colin Chatfield for the visitors with Peter Radford and Duncan Taylor remaining unbeaten on the night.
