With the top two teams having a week off, it was down to reigning champions Brixham Sharks to make a move up the First Division table with a fine 8-2 win over Dawlish Aces. Stam Kioufis won all 3 for the Sharks with Rory Harries taking a game off Kioufis and beating both Jazmin Johns & Adam Shipway.

Comfortable wins by the top two sides in the First Division, Torbay Academy I with an 8-2 victory over their 2nd team and N A Batmen defeating Brixham Trawlers 9-1, opens up a gap at the top of the table. Halwell, in third place, shared the points with Dawlish Aces, with Dave Wadling getting a maximum for Halwell.

The Early Season Tournament was staged for the second time at the Torbay Leisure Centre on Sunday 16th November 2014, new tables and equipment supplied with the help of a grant from Sport England, gave the tournament a more professional feel.
A good entry enabled an excellent day's table tennis for those that participated.

With the top 2 sides not playing, NA Batmen took the opportunity to move into the runner-up spot in the First Division. Their 7-3 victory over Brixham Gulls featured a superb performance from the Gulls youngster, Josh Millman, who, in an outstanding set, beat Nick Halse 20-18 in the 5th game, went on to beat Dennis Gibbs, also in 5, before completing his maximum against Chris Dunn.

The first round of the Singles Super League meant very few fixtures this week. The two teams new to the top flight battled out an exciting match at Teign School. NA Buzzards came through against a fighting Torbay Table Tennis Academy II team. Newcomer to the South Devon League Mike Kiff never looked in any trouble winning his 3 singles for the Buzzards and then teamed up with Connor Adams to clinch the final doubles 11-5 in the 5th set to take the match 6-4.

Match of the week in the top division was the encounter between Torbay Table Tennis Academy I and NA Batmen: the Academy side came out 6-4 winners with Kris Piwowar in top form winning all his sets comfortably, then teaming up with Patrik Cincala to clinch the match with victory in the final doubles.

With a substantial increase in the number of players and teams for the forthcoming season the South Devon & Torbay League committee have introduced a fourth division for the first time in many years. This made the composition of the divisions extremely difficult.
