Handicap Cup/Presidents' Trophy:
Rhyl A also had a comfortable 30-2 over bottom the table Y Morfa A. Maximums were landed by both Tom Bird and John Hughes. Captain Dave Daniels came back from two sets down to defeat Andy Horton over five sets.
Amlwch C beat Craig-y-Don C 29-5 with Peter Higgins securing a maximum. The most resistance was provided by Bill Wells who took a game from Emyr Owen and beat Gavin Calllow in a five-set tussle.

All teams have now started their campaigns, in the most recent match Trinity B won a tight encounter against Henllan B 22-18 despite Iain McGillivray winning his singles matches.
Ten days to the start of the season!

News - Week Thirty
The individual honours are decided by the percentage of matches won by the players who have played in more than sixty percent of a team’s fixtures. The top ten in the first division for the 2023/24 season are:
An earlier reported match between Y Morfa B and Rhyl C which was recorded as a 23-13 win for Rhyl C has been adjusted to a 17-17 draw. Rhyl C used a reserve who had previously played three games as a reserve in the Llandudno league.
Rhyl C failed to turn up for their fixture against Trinity C and the game was claimed by Trinity C as a 30-0 victory.
Trinity A beat bottom of the table Y Morfa A 27-4. John Chan and Stuart Dearden both secured maximums. Eddie Chan beat both Jason Coe and Chris Henderson but lost out to Andy Horton.
Next week commencing Monday 19th February there are no scheduled fixtures only an opportunity for teams to catch up/get ahead if you have not already done so try to rearrange a match next week.
Due to injury and a family bereavement Amlwch A conceded against Craig Y Don B who now progress to the quarter finals where they will be away to Rhyl B.
This week it was turn of the divisional cups and it was pleasing that all the ties were resolved, and we can look forward to the semi-finals on or before the first full week in March.
In the League Cup First Division Preliminary Round, Y Morfa A conceded to Amlwch B who are now home next week to Henllan A in the quarterfinals.
Craig Y Don B is through to the round of sixteen by default, Amlwch C is eliminated from the handicap competitions in 2024.
