Handicap Cup/Presidents Trophy:
These game are played to forty with service changing every five points and include a doubles.
League Cup:
Enjoy a good festive break, we will officially start again on Monday 8thJanuary 2024 with the preliminary road of the Handicap Cup. The handicaps will appear on TT365 soon and I will send a copy to team captains.
Henllan B could again only field two players in an away match, this week against Craig-y-don C. However, Iain McGillivray and recently transferred Melyyn Booker did not drop a game on the night to run out 21-9 winners.
Henllan A is up to second following a 27-14 win at the expense of Y Morfa A. Paul Hulme won all three of his singles. Rob Stanway beat Jonny Hughes in four and Melvyn Booker over five games.
The table will undoubtfully alter as teams catch up their postponed matches. The champions Amlwch A will not start their campaign until week six they have rearranged all but one of their postponed October fixtures.

Police B were now 33 points behind Henllan B in third and conceded their outstanding fixture against Amlwch B, unable to catch Henllan B and clear in third postion in the division.

...In the first division, Amlwch A easily outpointed Y Morfa A 30-1, with Andy Horton securing the only point in a 1-3 loss to Reg John.

In the second division, Amlwch B remain unbeaten, this week beating third placed Trinity B 30-6. Caren Ault came through two close five-game deciders winning 14-12 against John Lovegrove and 11-9 against Ellis Hughes.

Henllan A beat Police B 453-406 with a game to spare. Paul Hulme and Melvyn Booker won all four of their games including the doubles. Melvyn had some very close wins, 40-39 and 40-38 against Stan Wan and Kevin Evans respectively.

The 2023 Welsh National Table Tennis Championships took place last weekend in Cardiff. This was the hundredth year of Table Tennis in Wales.
The quarter finals of both the Handicap Cup and President’s Trophy are due on to be played week commencing the 20th March and the draws are now available on the Handicap Cup Draws section of this site.

In the second division cup tie, Y Morfa B comfortably knocked out Amlwch C. Dave Meadows won his three singles. Y Morfa B have ensured a home tie against Police B in the quarterfinals.
